02 — Artist Statement
I explore the relationship between the structures we find in nature and the structures we design and build.

My paintings have been described in the Boston Globe by Gail Nathanson as "organic abstraction" — a description that continues to feel true to what happens in the studio. Geometry meets growth; grid meets gesture. The work in the studio, as always, continues.
